Arcare EA - Your agreement going out to vote!

HSU members at Arcare will shortly be asked to vote on a proposed new enterprise agreement that will set your wages and conditions. It’s important you review the proposed changes and have your say in the vote; it’s up to you to decide if this agreement is good enough. The enterprise agreement will only be accepted if a majority of people who cast a vote, vote ‘yes’.
 
Key points in the proposed agreement include:
  • Wages: 3% increases each year from November 2024 (with backpay) to November 2027
  • Improved entitlements: New Buddy Shift allowance of $2.50 per hour, 20 days paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave, and up to 5 days paid Infectious Diseases Leave.
  • Parental leave: Superannuation paid on employer paid parental leave.
Voting details
  • Access period starts Wednesday 10 December 2025
  • Online vote opens 8.00am Thursday 17 December 2025
  • Online vote closes 10.00am Monday 22 December 2025
