Central Specimen Reception Restructure at John Hunter, Calvary Mater, Maitland
Wednesday 14 January, 2026
A service delivery redesign within the Central Specimen Reception is being proposed by NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP). This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- Management claim that as a result of Beaker, a component of the SDPR, significant changes have occurred that impact the data entry function.
- The proposal would impact where some of this work is conducted, as it is no longer required in the laboratory. This would impact the work location of some workers.
- Management are proposing that as a result there would need to be changes to classifications.
- An EOI process would be conducted for staff who are interested in a change to classification from Administration officer to Technical Assistant.
