Incorrect travel time between clients at LifeCare @ Home - ACT

Incorrect travel time between clients at LifeCare @ Home - ACT

Wednesday 11 February, 2026

HSU members at LifeCare @ Home – ACT have raised concerns about incorrect travel time between clients being recorded by the Alayacare system.

RSL LifeCare Schedulers have confirmed:

  • The Alayacare system automatically calculates the travel time and kilometres between clients; and these calculations are not always accurate!

Every travel minute counts! If you believe your travel time or kilometres between clients is not right, notify your scheduler so the entry can be updated. You will then be appropriately paid for your time at work.

For any questions or to find out more, please reach out to your HSU Organiser Lisa Bourke at lisa.bourke@hsu.asn.au or 0409 744 165 or your Member Services Division on 1300 478 679.
