Integrated and Palliative Care Specialty Services Restructure at Justice Health NSW
Friday 6 June, 2026
Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) has notified the HSU of proposed changes to the Integrated and Palliative Care Specialty Services. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposal would see the creation of a Clinical Lead position (grading to be determined), at the expense of two existing positions that would be deleted: Manager, Community Partnerships, Integrated Care Services, and Service Development Officer, Palliative Care.
- Management have failed to provide any reasoning for this proposed change despite the serious impacts caused by the deletion of positions. The network has simply claimed that a change is required for the long-term sustainability, efficiency, and alignment of services with community needs.
- HSU members are always concerned when jobs are cut, and it is vital member feedback is heard in relation to this proposal.
