NBMLHD: Proposed Restructure, Supportive & Palliative Care

Nepean Blue Mountains LHD is proposing a restructure within the Supportive & Palliative Care department. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposed change involves changes to the department’s governance structure with a change from an acute-based model under Cancer Services to a community-based governance model within Primary Care and Community Health (PCCH).
- Consultation has not yet commenced, but the District says it will provide documentation to relevant staff at the beginning of the process on 23 February.
- A number of town hall meetings will also be scheduled, with the first taking place on Monday 23 February at 3:30pm.
It is important for union members to lead this discussion.
