Patient Experience Officers Restructure at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital

South Western Sydney LHD (SWSLHD) has notified the HSU of proposed changes to the reporting lines for Patient Experience Officers (PEOs) at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital.

  • The reporting lines for the PEOs would change from the Patient Registration Manager to the Emergency Department Nurse Manager.
  • Management claim the current structure does not align with other facilities across SWSLHD, or with the Ministry of Health guidelines under the ED Patient Experience Program.
