Proposed major workplace change to Quality Care Coordinator role

Recently RSL Life Care advised the HSU of a proposed restructure of the Quality Care Coordinator role across its facilities in NSW and the ACT.
- RSL are proposing to change the prerequisites of the Quality Care Coordinator role, meaning only an experienced Registered Nurse can be appointed to the position. This will have a major impact on members who do not hold that qualification, but who are currently employed in that role.
- If you have been asked to attend a meeting about your role or have feedback about how this restructure will impact you, please contact your local delegate or HSU Organiser.
You have a right to:
- Take part in discussions about how these changes may affect your employment conditions;
- Give feedback on the proposed change and have it considered; and
- Get support and representation from your Union before you make any decisions.
It is important for union members to lead this discussion.
