SydPath Restructure at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney (SVHS)

A restructure within SydPath is being proposed by SVHS. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- SVHS claims there has been a significant decrease in collections activity due to shifting away from operating standalone collection centres.
- The proposal would see the Pathology Collections Manager position identified as excess, with the Area Manager role reporting to the Client Services Operations Manager.
- The proposal would also create 2 new positions to support the Area Manager: Pathology Collections Training Manager (General Admin Level 8), and Pathology Collections Ward Supervisor (Admin Officer Level 5).
