Update: Carparking Payment Policy change at The Sutherland Hospital

The Sutherland Hospital (TSH) will continue to allow staff to nominate the number of days they require access to the carpark, until the new Ministry of Health Policy on Hospital Car Parking Fees is released for consultation in April 2026. Following HSU representations to management, please find an update on staff car parking below:

  • TSH will not cancel any parking passes for staff who are yet to transition to the salary deduction model. 
     
  • The MoH Policy is due to be finalised in April 2026, and a further round of consultation will take place with HSU members at that time.
     
  • If you encounter any issues with car parking, please first email ambrosu.desilva@health.nsw.gov.au to try and resolve the issue.
     
  • If the issue remains unresolved, please escalate the matter to the Head of Corporate Services adrianna.scotti@health.nsw.gov.au.
