Update from GenesisCare Members Meeting
Wednesday 4 March, 2026
After GenesisCare’s latest EA offer went out, many members had questions. On Monday night, many of you attended an urgent member meeting to hear from your HSU representatives about the new offer. During the meeting:
- Members raised how some things look good on paper, such as the 5 weeks’ annual leave for PSOs and Bookings staff, the creation of the Fee Chat Specialists, the increase to CPD allowance and the increase for new graduates. However, behind all that, members’ wages are still below-market.
- For existing experienced staff, the offer will do nothing for retention. It was very clear that HSU members are united in their views.
- Your representatives also provided a short presentation of what this offer means for each craft group.
What’s next?
- Attend your road shows and ask questions. Make sure you take notes!
- Complete the HSU survey and provide your feedback. This is how members’ voices are represented by the bargaining team. Don’t miss out – survey closes Wednesday 11 March.
- Talk to your colleagues who aren’t yet members about getting involved and raising their voices to join yours.
