SCHN has notified the HSU of proposed changes to rosters within the virtualKIDS service. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.

  • The proposal would involve a 3-month pilot to introduce a 10-hour shift model for nursing and administrative staff.
  • Management claim staff have made requests which indicate a preference for 10-hour shifts rather than the current 8-hour and 12-hour shift model.
  • SCHN advises the pilot would enable the evaluation of operational impact, staff wellbeing, and service outcome prior to any longer-term decision being made.
