Proposed Roster Changes within North Block at John Hunter Hospital (JHH)

HealthShare NSW (HSNSW) has notified the HSU of proposed roster changes for staff as a result of the North Block redevelopment. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
  • The proposal would see the introduction of a 5-day rotating roster which would impact the rostering arrangements, including weekend work requirements. These issues would be addressed through consultation.
  • It is also proposed that existing employees transitioning to North Block roles would have access to both 5-day and 7-day roster patterns based on their preferred options.
  • HSNSW has noted that it is open to consulting on the most suitable rostering arrangements for affected staff.
