SDPRIA – Hunter New England LHD Go Live Rosters
Tuesday 28 April, 2026
Dear member,
Following the initial go live and hyper-care period for Justice Health, HSU delegates and representatives have been attempting to address member’s concerns about the next shift work roster. This roster is due to start 20 May when Hunter New England goes live.
Some concerns raised by members include:
- Poor rostering patterning which creates WHS concerns related to fatigue management;
- Lack of clarity around roles, expectations and responsibilities;
- Lack of clarity around shift locations;
- WHS concerns related to travel, especially access to public transport after hours;
- Lack of understanding about staffing levels on each shift; and
- Concerns about workloads.
Despite continued attempts to seek answers, we are now led to believe SDPRIA have issued the next roster without informing members. These are now available to view within Health Roster.
Members are now encouraged to check the health roster and contact their delegates with any concerns or email ehealth.mbrs@hsu.asn.au.
HSU Organiser Brendan Roberts will be onsite at Zenith Tower on Thursday 30 April to speak to members about their entitlements. If you won’t be onsite but would like to know more, you can also email ehealth.mbrs@hsu.asn.au or call Brendan on 0425181361
