Update: Nepean radiographers re-grade application process
Monday 2 March, 2026
Last year, HSU members raised serious concerns regarding several Nepean radiographers having their regrades denied by management, despite completing advanced degrees and relevant training.
- While radiography members had done everything correctly to gain their re-grades, management has cited a change in policy to knock them back.
- On Monday, 23 February, several HSU members attended the Industrial Relations Commission (the Commission) to have their case heard.
- NBMLHD continued to deny the members' regrades.
- The Ministry of Health (the Ministry) has now been involved as the decisionmaker.
- HSU representatives will return to the Commission in another week to take the matter to the Ministry.
